Rainy Roman Easter

It has been awhile, but I have lots of material to catch up on. I kind of feel overwhelmed actually with all the posts I need to do. Anyways, I didn't mention it, but my parents and Mandy came for a visit and left on Easter. I just have to post this picture it was pretty hilarious. This was the view I had from the front seat on our drive to Rome after Drake's game in Avellino. I know you are probably thinking how spoiled I am that I got to sit in the front, but in my defense, I had 3 bags at my feets so had to sit indian style for the 2 1/2 hour drive. I think my dad had it worse with a big suitcase on his lap. Well I am happy to say we got through that drive and arrived at our hotel at about 1:30 am and my parents and Mandy took off at 10 the next morning (Easter Sunday). We were sad to see them go but had a great and eventful time with them. I will post the next couple days about their trip but wanted to show some pictures from our Easter first.

We are always so interested to see what our hotel will be like in Rome. This had great location right by the Trevi Fountain.

Rome is just so crazy to me. You can be walking down a street and find some old ruins from before Christ's time. We had never seen this area before, pretty incredible.

Quick game of crazy eights. I knew Rome would be full of annoying tourists (I tell Drake we don't fit into that category anymore, but he disagrees), but I just couldn't get over the crowds everywhere we went. Here I am in my favorite local in Rome, the Spanish Steps.
Just wanted to show you my perspective walking through the streets.
