Time for another monthly photo shoot. Lou is growing like crazy. This month he gained 5 pounds and grew 2 inches. He is weighing in at 13 lbs now, and I am beginning to get a bit worried about holding him, my arms are already getting tired. He is very healthy and sleeping less and less during the day and more and more at night:) He is getting more interactive and so fun. Here are some pics.
So here is what we have been up to this month.
We have been working on getting Lou's neck stronger. He can last about 5 minutes at tummy time.... then he is sick of it.
Like I said his sleep schedule is getting much better, but I will say he is probably the only baby that has a nighttime schedule of sleeping from 2 am to 11 am. Drake came up with a technique for keeping him awake. Running his feet under cold water.
He loves bath time.
Changing lots of diapers. Who in their right mind would ever think this was possible!
I have been waiting for this outfit! Thanks Diener girls.
Everyone asks who he looks like, and although I don't think I can claim much, I claim this: I always sleep with my hands over my head.

Celebrated Trav's big 3-0!!! Ro did a great job, surprise casino party.
Jenny introduced us to a beautiful path in Porto Torres, I will hopefully be going back for many more. How lucky are we to be living here.

So that is a quick summary of this past month. Just add in feeding and changing diapers every couple hours and you can feel like your are right here with us. Yes, my life is now consumed by Louis, and I am more than fine with that. This next month is going to be a crazy one. We leave tomorrow to go to Rome to watch the team play and make Louis an American citizen. It will be Lou's first time on a plane, nervous how that is going to go. I am currently taking a break from packing our bag, wow!!!! Babies require so much stuff. It makes me think of what it was like for my mom packing 6 kids. I can't imagine. Then the next week my family arrives, which will be a perfect distraction for the event I have been dreading all season. Ro's departure:(It has been amazing watching Ro grow and grow. Pregnancy looks real good on her, I am excited for everyone back home to see her. It is so strange to think that I was there just a few months ago, crazy how quickly you forget what it feels like. It will be so different without her here, and not different in a good way. Enough about that!! I know the rest of the season will go fast, excited for Derek and Elisa and their girls to come for a visit after that, so..... lots of good things to look forward to.

Haha...all of these pics are SO cute! Love the bear too ;) Miss ya this weekend!
Okay I just left you a mean message on facebook about your lack of pictures of Lou. At least now I see you are posting them somewhere! I loved the picture of Lou's diaper blowout. Ahhh, yes. Those are the best moments. It makes me think of the glamourous Gini I once saw in Fond du lac a couple Summers back... the one who said, "I am just too selfish to have kids right now!" I am glad to see motherhood is suiting you well. :) I figured it would as soon as you had one of your own. I want to see you! Do you think Mandy would mind if I rode in her suitcase to Italy???
I love reading your blog Gini :) Lou is SO cute. And so are you! I can't wait to see you guys soon!!
