Tis the Season

Wow how I let this thing go!!!!! Just like my looks lately:) Well lets see, what do I have to fill you in on? It has almost been a month, which means we are a month closer to getting our baby boy, time has been flying. Here is some of what we have been up to.

We enjoyed a homemade meal made for us by our Coach Meo. He is such a gentleman, gave all the girls a bouquet of flowers. He is my favorite, especially because he reminds me of dad with that stache.
After our home game against Rome, we had a team party. Luckily, we won so everyone was in a great mood. Should I have said luckily? Here is a group of smokers hanging outside.
Here are the boys with our babies' Dr. Gianni. Doesn't he look like a nice man? he really is. I know he will keep me cool and calm during the hard part.
Once again Thanksgiving arrives, here in Italy. It is always a bit more difficult over here, what I wouldn't give for some frozen pie crusts! Anyways on the actual Thanksgiving (after the packer game which we wouldn't miss), we went out with our team of Americans for a late meal to a restaurant that put on their idea of an American Thanksgiving. I appreciated the effort but the food was just not there.
Then on Saturday after morning practice, Ro and I put on an exceptional feast. Drake likes to play it down because it doesn't compare to Grandma's, but I felt very proud of us. I have never participated in making a turkey and homemade stuffing before, and BOY oh BOY where they good. The meal in my opinion was a 10 (except for the pumpkin pie, like I said I need frozen pie crust).
Checking out the bird fresh from the oven, and I thought I'd give you a side shot of the belly.
The boys were so excited for this meal that they dressed up for the occasion. Ha, this picture makes me laugh.
We spent the rest of the day hanging out playing cards, playing play station, and putting up Trav and Ro's Christmas tree (Ro did most of the work). I love this photo, in our apartments we only have one 2 seater couch, so this is what you would walk in to find. Don't you think the pregnant girls should have more space on the couch, the boys look much more comfortable.
After digging around we found the wishbone, but I still don't know what part of the bird it is in. Anyone know?
Everyday.... and I love the matching outfits. They are just so cute.
Love this time of year, I think our tree this year is our best one yet.
Last weekend while the boys were away the girls threw me a shower. Very generous group of girls. I told Ro earlier I don't want one, but does she listen????? She is the best, I really don't think I realized what a blessing it would be to have her (and Trav) here with us this year.

So I guess that is all for now. I am officially full term so anytime this guy wants to come out, I think I/we are ready, a little scared, but mostly just ready. We had a checkup today, and Gianni thinks it will be a little after Christmas, which doesn't work so well with the schedule. I always tell Drake I will be fine as long as he is here with me, but I always have Ro:) This week is Drake's 30th Birthday.

Oh yeah and basketball wise things are going well. Sassari is currently 5-4. Great game against Varese last night. Here is a cool shot. Bye Bye.
