Parent Visit

We were excited to have Dick and Sara come over for a quick visit. Didn't know if they would get over with new Stritch responsibilities back home. The time went so fast but we were able to show them around the area, and spend some great memorable time together. We had perfect weather while they were here, they took it with them, Fall has officially arrived in Teramo. Here are some shots from a day trip we took to Civitella, an old Spanish fort nearby.

A little aerobic session

The fort was infested with wasps. Literally I have never seen so many and been so on edge. You can see one in this pic.

We have our Wii set up. Been spending lots of time playing, and have even gotten a bowling league set up in our building.

Another day trip to the Adriatic

These pictures made me laugh but I think they need a little explanation. We did some walking and came across the river where the mountain water enters the sea. Instead of walking all the way back we tried to cross it, it wasn't very big but Drake and Dick didn't think Sara and I could jump across it. Dick even had Sara do a practice jump.
The boys of course had no problems jumping across it.

But we had to wade through it.
