Trip To Berlin

As you can remember I got to make the trip to Berlin to see our boys make their debut in Eurocup. It was a very quick and busy trip, and I was so glad I got to go with Brenna and her adorable one year old. Got to practice having a one year old with me at all times:) I loved what we saw of Germany, and would love to go back with more time on my hands. Here are some pictures from our trip.

Brenna and Lydia on the bus ride to Rome

We were on a bus with fellow fans of Teramo that went on the trip. Mostly it was the society of the team and some press people. This is our president thanking everyone for their support, he is a great guy.
Airplane ride gave us lots of room to spread out
Drake and Jesse getting some zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's

I love Lydia

When we got to Berlin the boys went there own way and we went to our Hotel. We were told to meet in the lobby in an hour for dinner... at least that is what we thought we were told. Language barriers left us a little confused. We left the hotel thinking we were going to a restauraunt close by but ended up walking the streets of Berlin for about 2 hours. Mind you it was about 8:30 at night when we left the hotel and I would guess about 40 degrees with slight mist/ rain. Poor Brenna was not dressed appropriately but she was such a tough cookie, I would have been complaining my a#* off, but she didn't say a word. Every italian kept coming up to her and asking why she didn't have a coat, or if she was cold. I kind of just went off on a tangent, but this picture is of a bratwurst/sausage stand they had throughout the city.

The president treated everyone to a snack :) Again, Brenna and I thought we were walking to dinner, so we didn't get one thinking we would ruin our appetites. Little did we know we would be walking for 2 hours. Need to learn italian!

We walked into a Christmas market. So much fun!

Some Berlin landmarks. Right behind this is the Reichstag. It used to be Hitlers headquarters during World War II. Now the top of it is an glass dome, meant to signify the open communication the German government has with its people.

Finally dinner

Game Time!!! Teramo is in a group with three other teams. After eight games, the top two teams advance to the next round. Berlin is favored to be one of these teams, but we played a great game, and heartbreakingly ended up losing by two by a true buzzer beater put back. Wow, I am impressed with my basketball lingo, Drake didn't even tell me that. I think I am getting much better!
Our Teramo group. Great trip, great memories, and made some great new friends. After the game we left directly for Teramo, ended up in our beds at about 4:30 AM.

Hey, do you ever read these? Anyway, I was thinking about this baby business (especially after looking at you with that baby girl... you know that's for sure gonna make you want to have a baby... all the fun time but none of the work on YOUR shoulders...that's how I got conned into having a baby...:) But I was thinking if you want to get pregnant hurry and get pregnant now- with a boy-, have it in September before you go back, and then in two years when you are ready for number two I will get pregnant with you and we'll both have girls. Then you'll have one boy and one girl and probably will be done cause you'll be ready to crack from all the stress of all-nighters with crying babies and living in sweatpants. I hope you have all boys! HAHa... no you need to have one girl with me. Okay, post me comments now.
